Compliance testing

Legislation states that all appliances and equipment be tested once or twice a year and be certificated by a qualified technician. This is a requirement and your duty as a company for the health and safety of both the general public and your employees. It is often found in the small print of both your contents and buildings insurance, which may declare your policies invalid if unchecked, and in the event of something happening, can cost your company in legal fees, and your company being legally at fault.         

It is recommended that that your fire alarms and emergency lights are checked every 6 months, PAT testing and fire extinguishers be tested every 12 months.
