 It has been noted in the locksmith community that many locks which are replaced, could be prevented with regular servicing. 80-90% of all call outs are due to environmental issues and general use. The day to day use of your locks means that foreign substances are transferred into them, making them ineffective and liable to become defective. As with all things with mechanized components they need regular servicing, or will inevitably need replacing. This service ensures that the locks are in use for a longer period of time.

The service can be carried out once or twice a year, dependant on your needs, and entails removal of all locks, cleaning and greasing of the working components, this removes all foreign objects, such as salt, which corrodes the metals. While the locks are being refitted, they are checked for faults, that they are easily operated and are in good working order. This includes all manual fire escape push bar systems, internal door locks, and digital locking devices. If it is observed that any are faulty or defective, they can be replaced while on site, with extra keys cut, as required, at an additional cost. We endeavor to seek verbal and/or written authorization on all additional works, before any additional work is carried out, by our point of contact within your company.
